Partnership Allows Meeting Planners and Suppliers To Earn Credits Toward IAEE's Professional Certification Program
LOS ANGELES, June 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The International Association of Exhibitions and Events has partnered with the Meetings Quest trade show, which will be held July 22–23 at the Oakland Convention Center in Oakland, California, to provide its professional certification training. Presented by Association News magazine and hosted by Visit Oakland, Meetings Quest is America's longest-running series of educational and networking events for association, corporate, government and religious meeting planners.

On July 22, Meetings Quest attendees will be able to earn credits toward IAEE's professional certification program, which leads to the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation. The day-long program will be administered by IAEE and taught by CEM commission–approved faculty. The CEM designation was created in 1975 to raise professional standards in the exhibition industry and is recognized as the premier mark of professional achievement for those who manage and host trade shows.
