Michigan State University Faculty Members Receive Prestigious Awards

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Three Michigan State University (MSU) faculty members, Dr. David J. Closs, Dr. John Hollenbeck, and Dr. Raymond S. Schmidgall, were recently honored for contributions and service to their fields. These award-winning professors are now teaching students worldwide in MSU's new 100% online certificate programs.

Dr. Closs received the first-ever Jack Meredith Best Paper Award from the Journal of Operations Management. Dr. Hollenbeck was named an Outstanding Reviewer of the Year by Academy of Management Review. Dr. Schmidgall received the Howard B. Meek Award, the highest individual honor given by International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Educators (I-CHRIE).
