Midwest Call Center Scores with Pharma Brand Building Healthcare Professional Recruitment Program

South Dakota-based call center becomes a force in building brand awareness for major pharmaceutical companies nationwide

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., March 30, 2012 — South Dakota-based Link It Call Center today announced the details of its highly efficient program to recruit physicians and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) to various promotional events.

Link It's program, developed over three years of working with some of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the US, has proven to be a major tool for helping pharmaceutical companies launch new drugs, introduce new protocols and promote other brand- and market-building activities.

The Link It Call Center, with all employees based in four offices in South Dakota, is a division of 16-year-old Link It Software Corporation, headquartered in California. Link It Call Center was set up four years ago after Link It was unable to find quality call center services, either off or on shore. The division quickly expanded from representing Link It's software products to working with some 200-plus other firms, primarily in the tech, medical and service industries.

Numerous pharmaceutical brands approached Link It Call Center because of its reputation for delivering success in demanding scenarios such as lead generation and appointment setting for big-brand technology firms.

"It was really a partnership effort with our first healthcare agencies," says Link It CEO Wayne McFarland. "They recognized that we had already mastered staffing, training and reporting for key marketing projects.

"Together we put in place a detailed program to handle such things as obtaining service provider agreements, delivering the necessary safety information, exclusion lists and other Sunshine Act compliance-related essentials."

Link It Call Center now works directly with major pharmaceutical brands and their agencies and event planners. "Our job is to reach, recruit and register healthcare professionals for meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in interactive webinars and eDetailing efforts, as well as traditional events such as formal and informal dinners. We also handle reminder calls prior to an event and pre or post meeting surveys," volunteered McFarland.

Link It recognized early on that "to-the-second-current" information on projects was a critical part of the entire process. To meet this need, Link It developed a cloud-based Project Portal where key statistics can be viewed and reports pulled in real-time.

"Our pharma clients tell us that our program aligns perfectly with their efforts to maintain a strong branded presence in new and developing information delivery channels," concluded McFarland.
