Morgan James Publishing Shares the Beloved Adventures of Andy Ant With a New Generation of Children at a Book Signing Event in California

NEW YORK, Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Morgan James Publishing's (www.Morgan-James.com) new release "The Adventures of Andy Ant: Lawn Mower on the Loose" and "The Adventures of Andy Ant:  The Swimming Hole Disaster" teach children to develop good values and strong moral character while exploring the world through Andy Ant's perspective.

On March 7, 2014, Lawrence W. O'Nan, author of the Andy Ant series of books, will be signing copies of "The Adventures of Andy Ant: Lawn Mower on the Loose" and "The Adventures of Andy Ant: The Swimming Hole Disaster" at the Redlands Barnes & Noble, located at 27460 West Lugonia Avenue, Redlands, CA 92374, in conjunction with a book fair sponsored by the Highland Kiwanis Club for four local elementary schools.  From 4-7 p.m., parents and children are welcome to meet the creative mind behind "The Adventures of Andy Ant," listen to a live reading of these two books, make ant hats, go on an in-store Andy's Adventures clue hunt, and perhaps get a photo with Andy Ant himself.

In "The Adventures of Andy Ant: Lawn Mower on the Loose," Joseph Tyler Johnson joins a soccer team and meets his new friend Andy Ant for the very first time. However, Joey's soccer dreams land him in trouble and his new relationship with Andy Ant is threatened by a dangerous lawn mower. Readers join Andy Ant and Joey to learn more about taking responsibility for their actions!

"The Adventures of Andy Ant: The Swimming Hole Disaster" will also be available for purchase at the March book signing event. On a hot summer day, there is nothing better than swimming in the pool, including the ant pool! When Joey convinced Andy Ant to go swimming without his older brother Parker, he had no idea that he would have to help save Andy's life. Readers join Joey and the rest of Andy's family as they learn the value of obeying their parents in "The Adventures of Andy Ant:  The Swimming Hole Disaster."

Readers interested in the book signing event can view more information on Facebook and on Twitter at @AndyAntandJoey and at the Andy Ant website http://www.andyant.com. There, readers can interact with Andy and Joey, read Joey's journal entries, and even create their own story endings! Parents are also welcome to join Andy to learn how to demonstrate to children the same values that Andy teaches in his books.
