MSPAlliance Executive Networking Dinner events bring together industry professionals from the cloud and managed services industry, to network and discuss business strategies and share best practices. The latest dinner series will address topics related to data security and privacy in the cloud and address country specific cloud initiatives.

"Cloud computing has seen very rapid adoption over the last few years, but this adoption has also come at a cost," said Celia Weaver, president and co-founder of the MSPAlliance. "Providers of managed services have long been staunch advocates for customer privacy and security. Private cloud represents one of the best hopes for keeping customer data secure and private in the wake of these very embarrassing public cloud vulnerabilities."

The MSPAlliance networking dinners will address the following:

  • Public versus private cloud strategies
  • Country specific cloud initiatives
  • Education of customers about public cloud limitations
  • Methods for MSPs to secure customer data
  • Promote networking among service providers
  • Encourage blended or hybrid cloud strategies that address 100 percent of customer needs

"We're excited to be a sponsor of the MSPAlliance Executive Networking Dinner series and look forward to demonstrating how our cloud-based security solutions provide better protection for end-users, and an easier to manage, and more profitable solution for MSPs," said Charles Tomeo, vice president of worldwide channel and technical sales at Webroot. "By including Webroot's cloud-based security intelligence solutions into a partner's existing value-added services, MSPs can easily protect endpoints and mobile devices, while reducing resources necessary to manage multiple customers."

Cloud or Managed Service Providers interested in attending any of the networking dinners should visit www.mspalliance.com for registration information. Space is limited.
