Mystery and Gay Relationships Take the Spotlight in New Book

Author's debut novel will be featured at this year's Frankfurt International Book Exhibit in Germany on October 9-13, 2013

DAYTON, Ohio, June 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Author Jerald Ramsey debuts in the publishing industry with the release of his mystery fiction, The Fourth Key. Fiction lovers would find themselves immersed in the lives of characters living normal lives but who are plunged into unusual situations.

Young blond Bran sees a man he believes is Johnny Thunder, the former gay movie star, and tries to meet him. Bran finally gets to meet his idol, Johnny Thunder a.k.a. John Funder, when John's grandmother is threatened and calls on Bran, who is known to have a knack for solving mysteries, for help.

John and Bran go to the summer residence to look for clues… and there they fall in love. When they return home, they find out that John's grandmother has been murdered. When Bran gets too close to solving the mystery, he is beaten and left for dead.

John's former lover, Bobby, comes to take him back to California; and the policeman on the case, Chad, falls for Bran. Chad and Bran have a great relationship until Chad finds out that he has cancer. Chad sends Bran off to California to live with John and Bobby and work in their chocolate factory.

Once Chad is cured, he goes to California and brings Bran back to Ohio and they open a chocolate factory together which is a branch of John and Bobby's in California.

Jerald Ramsey is a former banker and is a genealogist. He has written articles and compiled books for publication, but this is his first novel. He resides in Dayton, Ohio.
