National Health ISAC Announces New Board of Directors

Executive Director Deborah Kobza thanked those that served on the NH-ISAC founding Board of Directors and welcomed the new members. "Serving on the Board of a national organization with a commitment to support the protection of national critical infrastructures requires dedication, time and a commitment to a nationwide trusted community.  We are incredibly grateful for the service of the new Board members to provide their time and talents to strengthen national health critical infrastructure resilience."

Adventist Health System – Sharon Finney, CISM, CISSP, Corporate Data Security Officer.  Ms. Finney sets the data security strategy of the organization's information assets.  Prior to Adventist, she led healthcare security management for Dekalb Medical Center in Atlanta and previously provided consulting support in project and risk management, system architecture, database administration, and data migration and security.

Aetna, Inc. – James Routh, CISM, CSSLP. Chief Information Security Officer. Mr. Routh leads Global Information Security with over 20 years of experience as a practitioner, management consultant and leader of technology and information security functions for global service firms.  Prior to Aetna, he was the Global Head of Application and Mobile Security for JP Morgan Chase, and CISO for KPMG, Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, and American Express.  Mr. Routh is also Chairman of the FS-ISAC Products & Services Committee and former Board member.

Amgen – Nikolay Chernavsky, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Senior Manager Information Security. Mr. Chernavsky is responsible for architecting and engineering security solutions to address current and emerging threats in this digital age of borderless communications.  Prior to Amgen, he led IT initiatives at National Oilwell Varco Company.  Mr. Chernavsky holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Belorussian Polytechnic University; a Masters in Information Security from Boston University; and completed the NSA Digital Forensics Program.

CVS Caremark – Kenneth P. Mortensen, VP, General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer.  Mr. Mortensen leads the Legal and Governance functions for enterprise Privacy and Security.  Prior to CVS Caremark, he was CPO for Boston Scientific, served in the Administration of President George W. Bush as Chief Privacy and Civil Liberties Officer for the US Dept. of Justice, where he addressed foreign intelligence, surveillance, national security, law enforcement, and information sharing issues.  Also, he served at US DHS as Deputy CPO. Mr Mortensen holds a J.D., Villanova University School of Law; MBA, Villanova; BSEE, Drexel University.

Johnson and Johnson – Michael Wagner, Senior Director, IT Risk & Information Management As a member of the IT Risk Management and Supply Chain Leadership Teams, Mr. Wagner has responsibility for the IT Risk Management Operating Model, Worldwide Information Security, Digital Asset Risk Management and the Worldwide Records and Information Management Program.  Prior to J&J, he was Director of Information Security at Medco Health Solutions.  Mr. Wagner holds a BS degree in Biology, US Air Force Academy; and Master's of Science degree in Telecommunications Management, University of Maryland.

Kaiser Permanente – James Doggett – Senior Vice-President, Chief Technology Risk Officer.  Mr. Doggett has extensive experience building and leading teams in information security, corporate compliance, audit, and risk management.  Under his leadership, the Technology Risk Office encompasses Information Security, IT Compliance, and Technology Risk Management.  Mr. Doggett joined KP in March 2012 from JP Morgan where he was the Managing Director, Global Leader of Information Risk and Resiliency, and served previously as Partner with Ernest & Young, LLP and co-founded Better Beauty LLC.

McKesson Corporation – John Sapp, Jr., CISSP, CRISC, HISP, CGEIT, Senior Director, Information Security Product Management & Innovation.  Mr. Sapp is a visionary, strategic and certified Information Technology professional with over 25 years of in-depth and cross-industry experience. Mr. Sapp's career spans various disciplines including leading the development of strategic and innovative implementations of Information Security and Risk Management initiatives leveraging and enabling security technologies within the healthcare industry as part of the product development standards within the Office of the CISO at McKesson Corporation.

Merck & Co. – Terence Rice, Associate Vice-President, IT Risk Management and CISO.  Mr Rice is responsible for Information Security, IT Regulatory Readiness, Quality/Technical Assurance, Business Continuity Planning and Policy, and has held multiple roles at Merck, as Executive Director, Information Risk Management & Compliance within the Enterprise Technology & Application Services organization.  Prior to Merck, Mr. Rice served as Director of Global Information Security for Johnson and Johnson, and then in the consulting industry in a variety of roles.  Mr. Rice holds a BS degree from West Point; and a Masters of Science, George Washington University.

Monsanto – Tony Kirtley, Operations and Intelligence Lead, Information SecurityMr. Kirtley is responsible for Monsanto's Worldwide Security Services, Access Management, Security Intelligence and Incident Response.  Prior to Monsanto, he had various information security roles at Jacobs Engineering, MSI Systems Integrators and Emerson Electric.  He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Missouri Army National Guard, where he leads Missouri's Cyber Team of 26 cyber warriors.  Mr. Kirtley holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Florida Institute of Technology.

Partners Healthcare – Jennings Aske, Chief Information Security and Privacy Officer and previously Partners' CISO. Prior to Partners, Mr. Aske was CISO for UMass Memorial Hospital, and CISO for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts's Executive Office of Health and Human Services responsible for coordinating information security across 16 state agencies.  He is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts graduating from Boston University Law School, where he was Managing Editor of the American Journal of Law & Medicine.

St. Luke's Health System – Reid Stephan, Director IT Security.  With over 15 years of experience in the security field, Mr. Stephan previously worked as Manager of Hewlett-Packard's Global Incident Response Team.
