"We are very excited about having Nelson De La Nuez in person at the gallery for his Pop Icons exhibition. We showed his work at Art Hamptons recently and every, single piece sold out. We can't wait to have some of his large originals at this show. They sell out quickly because they are so rare to acquire.  His pop art is incredibly unique in style and is often provocative in making a statement. Our gallery currently has and attracts some of the most prestigious art buyers in the world and I think Nelson's art will be an instant connection for them," says Bruce Lurie, Bruce Lurie Gallery director.

De La Nuez is listed on the "Who's Who List of the Most Collected Artists of Our Time" and his pop art is sold in galleries and auctions worldwide. He is also the owner of the Museum of Humor Art at theMoHA.com. He currently has created Nelson De La Nuez King of Pop Art branded items that consist of his own Heys designer pop art luggage collections (sold at Neiman Marcus and Lord and Taylor, etc.) that were featured on Oprah's magazine favorites, "the O List," Icon leather purses, shoes and accessories, limited edition tailored shirts, wallpaper collections for the hospitality industry and luxury homes and custom sound panels for walls and ceilings. All items are now available in limited quantities on his luxury brand's site, NelsonDeLaNuez.com.

"Those who attend the Pop Icons exhibition at Bruce Lurie Gallery will see a good mix of my work, from my various series on canvas, wood panels and resin and will get to see some much larger scale originals than are usually available. The people in attendance on Preview night or the reception will have the opportunity to purchase the originals first which sell quickly," explains De La Nuez.

The gallery address is: 2736 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90034
