CINCINNATI, Ohio, Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Three Norwegians wants to help cats who are most in need of assistance: shelter cats and cats of low-income families in need of medical care. On February 14, Three Norwegians kicked off the Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign, Buy a Book. Save a Cat., created to fund the new children's book The Bad Guy on the Block. A portion of every book sold goes to a cat in need of medical care. "It's a significant financial challenge for rescuers like me to help otherwise healthy cats get the medical care they need," says Holly Fertig, campaign team member and former veterinary technician. "Returning them to health is often the only way they have a chance of getting into a loving forever home."

To help more cats by engaging the broad cat-loving community, Three Norwegians is launching The BIG CAT Blogger Contest. From now until March 17, cat bloggers will have an opportunity to demonstrate their influence with cat lovers in a special Indiegogo referral contest. The cat blogger who helps to raise the highest amount of monetary contributions through referrals to the Buy a Book. Save a Cat. campaign will earn The BIG CAT title as the Most Influential Cat Blogger of 2014.
The Grand Prize winner will receive $475 value in perks, including three copies of The Bad Guy on the Block along with three Official Three Norwegians Messenger Bags. The winner will also receive special recognition in the first printing of The Bad Guy on the Block that will include their name and BIG CAT title as the Most Influential Cat Blogger of 2014.
