"Since making our initial announcement at the CMLS 2012 Conference last month, we've been overwhelmed with interest in our Facebook IDX," said Jeff Gellman, Director of MLS Services for N-Play. "Most MLS executives I speak with understand how Facebook is a game changer for their members and the need for compliant tools to conduct their business on these new platforms," he said.

N-Play's IDX search application is compliant with the IDX Rules and Regulations (as amended) and the new IDX Display Policy established by NAR at the 2012 Midyear Meeting in May.

IDX pricing in each market varies and is industry competitive. Pricing for existing markets is $9.95 per month or $49.95 for an annual subscription. Depending on the market, service is automatically activated on the agent's Facebook page upon the broker's electronic signature approval of their IDX request.

Agents must first become members of the Real Estate Agent Directory on Facebook to have access to the IDX service. The Directory is a free service for consumers and real estate professionals on Facebook. Consumers find agents on Facebook by location and expertise in over 7,500 U.S. cities. Since launched last year, 125,000 agents have joined the Directory by adding their profiles and linking to their Facebook pages. The Directory is also hosted on thousands of real estate-related pages throughout Facebook, including 300 Realtor® Association pages and 600 broker pages.

"There is no question NAR recognizes social media as a new frontier for the industry," said Gregg Larson, CEO of Clareity. "The demand for products like N-Play's IDX solution for Facebook is exploding as evidenced by their growing list of MLSs. How to incorporate these new technologies while maintaining IDX standards and rules has been the challenge. It will be interesting this week in Orlando to see if NAR's MLS Policy Committee adopts the recommendations of the MLS Technology and Emerging Issues Subcommittee. It is quite possible this issue will be left to local MLSs to continue to administer and police non-compliant IDX solutions as they do today," Larson said.

Representatives from N-Play are attending the REALTORS® Conference & Expo in Orlando. While at the conference, attendees interested in learning more about the IDX Search application on Facebook should contact:
