Online Magazine "Travel Curious Often" Explores the Ultimate International Winemaking Destinations in Paris-Themed Issue

Following the success of its "Curious & Thirsty" segment, the second-anniversary issue pays homage to French winemakers

PENSACOLA, Fla., July 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — With wine in mind, Travel Curious Often is celebrating its second-year anniversary by devoting an issue to Paris. Classic wine & cheese pairings are highlights. A side-trip to one of the ultimate winemaking destinations, Bordeaux, and an interview with Vignobles Garcin proprietress, Helene Garcin-Leveque, is also featured. Burgundy-based wine cellars De Aureo Spirito are presented in an earlier issue.

Beth Nickel, founder of the iconic Napa vineyard, Far Niente is the focus of another previous issue. Young up-and-coming winemakers, such as Jamie Kutch are included, along with a comprehensive guide to some of the best wineries in Northern California.

TCO's unquenchable curiosity has led to wine-growing regions in Texas and an interview with Dr. Richard Becker, founder of the oldest winery in the state. Colorado's rapidly improving wine production has been featured as well.

Outside the U.S., Croatia's long winemaking heritage was the subject of an extensive review as was Germany's Rheinsteig region.

TCO's thirst for outstanding wine was further confirmed when DaVinci Wineries, based in Tuscany and owned by Gallo Vineyards, recently announced that TCO Publisher, Marla Norman-Freytag, has been selected as a finalist in their annual Storyteller Competition. Proof positive that being curious and thirsty can lead to great travel experiences!
