Outten & Golden Announces Three New Associates Have Joined the Firm

Outten & Golden LLP has hired three new associates to contribute to its growing practice of representing employees.

NEW YORK, Aug. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Outten & Golden LLP, a preeminent employee rights law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of three new associates to its growing practice of representing employees in all areas of employment law, including individual, class action, and WARN Act cases.

Katrina Eiland: Before joining the firm, Ms. Eiland completed a clerkship with the Honorable Keith P. Ellison of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and served as a Civil Rights Fellow and associate at Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho, where she litigated complex wage-and-hour, employment discrimination, disability access, and voting rights cases. A 2010 graduate of Stanford Law School, Ms. Eiland represents employees in litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law, including wage-and-hour and discrimination class actions.  The ACLU of Southern California recently awarded her the 2014 Voting Rights Award for her work representing Latino residents in the City of Anaheim under the California Voting Rights Act.  Ms. Eiland has joined the San Francisco office.

Monique Chase: Before joining the firm, Ms. Chase clerked for the Honorable Ronald L. Ellis of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. A 2012 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, Ms. Chase will be representing clients in the firm's individual practice in the areas of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower and retaliation claims, as well as executive agreements, restrictive covenants, severance and related compensation issues, and in litigation.  Ms. Chase has joined the New York office.

Robert Phansalkar: Before joining the firm, Mr. Phansalkar worked as an Assistant General Counsel for Lehman Brothers as their Employment Counsel. A 2010 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, Mr. Phansalkar will be representing clients in the firm's financial services and executives and professional practice areas with respect to employment, severance and partnership agreements, restrictive covenants, expatriate agreements, and other transactional matters. Mr. Phansalkar has joined the New York office.
