Steven H. Woolf, MD, MPH, Director of VCU Center on Society and Health says, "To my knowledge, no other work examines the topic of population health with this level of detail, rigor, and clarity. This book comes at just the right time, as we recognize the urgency of shifting our thinking from patient-centered to "citizen-centered" policies to improve the health of communities. This book will prove invaluable to anyone undertaking this work."

Population Health – Management, Policy and Technology, First Edition, should serve as a textbook for use in academic and professional health and public health education, government, and not-for-profit sectors. It is an anthology that transcends the boundaries of individual health, healthcare, traditional public health, health information technology, and health policy to help address how we can improve population health outcomes and wellness in all communities.

We hope that Population Health – Management, Policy and Technology, First Edition can serve as a guide for insights, references, and ideas to spawn awareness, education, creative thinking, and new initiatives in how we work toward and support population health initiatives in the United States and abroad.

The book is available on www.amazon.com or at www.population-health.info. Contact Sage O'Connor via email for bulk pricing information.
