Prosci Explores Culture and Change Management in 17th Year of Research

LOVELAND, Colo., Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Once again, Prosci is beginning the largest and most in-depth research study in the field of change management. The study will combine with Prosci's past sixteen years of research to create the most cohesive best practices research on change management.  This new iteration of the research has expanded on the many topics covered in the 2013 study, but also delves into several new research areas, including a section on cultural dimensions and their impact on change management work.

"We're building on the research of other well-respected thought leaders in the field of cultural dimensions," says the study's lead analyst, Robert Stise. "We are seeking to understand the perception of change management across cultures as well as how cultural dimensions impact the application of change management." Questions involving culture will discuss:

  • Individualism vs. collectivism
  • Emotional expressiveness
  • Uncertainty avoidance

Prosci will publish their findings from this new section of the research in the 2016 Best Practices in Change Management report.
