Prosperoware Acquires the Software Products of LegalOasis

Purchase expands Prosperoware's customer base and strengthens its role as the leading provider of HP WorkSite add-ons

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Prosperoware announced today that it has acquired the software products of LegalOasis. The purchase significantly expands Prosperoware's client base and gives LegalOasis customers access to a rich array of add-on products for the HP WorkSite DMS, the leading document management system in legal.

Prosperoware is a technology firm that provides a complete set of add-ons to address information governance, improved administration, information barriers, mobile working, and user adoption.

Keith Lipman, president of Prosperoware, said he and his staff are excited about working with the LegalOasis clients and providing them with enterprise-grade products that complement their investment in HP WorkSite.

"We are looking forward to giving our new clients outstanding support and introducing them to all that Prosperoware has to offer," Lipman said.

Matthew Hobbs, founder and principal of LegalOasis, called the move a "natural transition" for the company from a growth and support perspective.

"The LegalOasis tools fit nicely into the Prosperoware software portfolio and provide the existing LegalOasis clients even more capabilities within a much larger technology platform offered by Prosperoware," Hobbs said.

While LegalOasis's WorkSite tools were designed as standalone products to solve specific business problems, Prosperoware delivers its solutions as a set of modular web-based platforms.  This allows customers to add functionality without additional investment in hardware, and allows related functionality to inter-operate without building additional integrations. This reduces the overall total cost of ownership through reduced support requirements.

In addition, all Prosperoware customers have access to a dedicated, professional support team across multiple time zones and a customer portal to download all software, open tickets, read documentation and learn best practices. Prosperoware also has robust ecosystem of channel partners and SMEs.

"We are looking forward to working with Legal Oasis' customers and making this transition as smooth as possible," said Lipman. "Our team stands ready to answer all of their questions and provide them with the exceptional level of support that all of our customers enjoy."
