ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. A non-governmental organization, ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 163 countries with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.

This is the second important certification received by QUA in 2012. Earlier this year, QUA was awarded NSF/ANSI 61 Certification by NSF International, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, for the manufacture of its Q-SEP® range of Hollow Fiber Ultrafiltration (UF) Modules. NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification is for Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects, the recognized health effects standard for all devices, components and materials that contact drinking water
QUA's products include CE-certified FEDI® Fractional Electrodionization, the next generation EDI technology, and Q-SEP® Hollow Fiber Ultrafiltration Modules.
