Rainmaker Now Available on the Google Apps Marketplace

Populates Google Contacts with data from various social networks

DENVER, Sept. 14, 2010 – CloudCenter LLC today announced it has added Rainmaker to the Google Apps Marketplace(TM), Google's online storefront for Google Apps(TM) products and services. Rainmaker empowers Google Apps users to share contacts within a domain. Rainmaker also populates Google Contacts(TM) with social data from LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. With Rainmaker, users can enhance and share their current contact information using integration with Google Contacts.

"CloudCenter LLC is committed to bringing the power of cloud computing to businesses," says Bart Lorang, CloudCenter LLC CEO. "We set out to build something that would allow our organization to scale with shared, clean and accurate contact information that worked seamlessly with Google Apps. Rainmaker was the result."

Rainmaker tightly integrates and synchronizes with Google Contacts, allowing Google Apps users to enhance and share contact data in Google Apps and Gmail(TM). Rainmaker uses a simple function called "Make it Rain," which takes an email address and searches a user's social networks to auto populate photos, titles, company names, and other public information directly into Google Contacts. This saves time and provides more information about your leads, prospects or customers.

Rainmaker also allows Google Apps users to share contacts within a domain. By clicking the "Share" link in Rainmaker or by adding a contact to the "Rainmaker Shared Contacts" group in Google Contacts, a contact can immediately be shared with other Rainmaker users. This functionality works with all editions of Google Apps.

"We are very happy to have Rainmaker in the Google Apps Marketplace," adds Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead for Google Enterprise. "Through the Google Apps Marketplace, software vendors like CloudCenter are helping us build a rich ecosystem of integrated apps that work seamlessly with Google Apps, allowing IT administrators to leverage the benefits of cloud computing and extend Google Apps to meet more of their business needs. We are excited to enhance the contacts experience for the millions of Google Apps users who have embraced the cloud."

The Google Apps Marketplace makes it easy for more than 2 million Google Apps businesses to discover, purchase and deploy integrated business applications and related professional services. By integrating with user account and application data stored in Google Apps, these cloud applications provide a simpler user experience, increase business efficiency, and reduce administrative overhead.
