RFID Journal LIVE! 2015 to Feature RFID Institute Certification and Fast-Track RFID Training Course

The 13th annual conference and exhibition will offer attendees the chance to become RFID Institute–certified, as well training in RFID deployment and applications development.

NEW YORK, Jan. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — RFID Journal announced today that it has partnered with RFID4U, a leading radio frequency identification training firm, to provide International RFID Institute Certification and training, as well as Fast-Track RFID Application Developers training, to attendees at RFID Journal LIVE! 2015 (www.rfidjournalevents.com/live), the world's premier conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification (RFID) and its many business applications.

LIVE! 2015 will be held on Apr. 15-17, 2015, at the San Diego Convention Center, located in San Diego, Calif. The International RFID Institute was founded in 2012 to develop standardized certification examinations to promote professionalism in the radio frequency identification industry. The organization launched its beta exam at LIVE! 2014 and will enable attendees to take the exam and be certified at LIVE! 2015. RFID4U will provide attendees with training designed to help them pass the RFID Institute Certification exam.

The Fast-Track RFID Applications Developers Training, an instructor-led course offered as part of RFID4U's Fast-Track series, teaches software application developers how to build the next generation of rich, interactive RFID applications for passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID readers and peripherals. Hands-on exercises provided throughout the course are designed to offer students an opportunity to gain practical experience with the skills and concepts covered in the lectures. Participants will be provided with hands-on experience with the latest RFID devices and cutting-edge RFID labs.

"We're very excited to be working with RFID4U again this year," said Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "This is a great opportunity for attendees to get certified, which will benefit their career in RFID over the long term."

LIVE! 2015 will also feature four industry-specific and four level-of-expertise conference tracks, as well as eight in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, four post-conference seminars, the RFID Journal Awards, the Coolest Demo Contest and two co-located events (the Internet of Things Conference and IEEE RFID 2015). In addition, the conference will offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry's leading technology firms. For more information, visit www.rfidjournalevents.com/live.
