Rising End: an RPG Game that is Fully Customizable

This hack-and-slash video game will be livestreamed so players can participate in the development of the game.

CHULA VISTA, Calif., Nov. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Rising End is a new hack-and-slash video game that will be livestreamed on Twitch (www.twitch.tv) so gamers can chat and ask questions as they play. Not only that, but the Rising End characters are fully customizable as they take part in an amazing adventure.

The game can be played on a PC, Mac and Ouya with a controller.

"We're really excited about launching this new game," said Cristian Contreras of Los Angeles, the lead designer. "It's an online RPG (role-playing game) that has custom gameplay. Plus, there are exciting cinematics, great graphics and fascinating characters."

With Rising End, gamers get to create their own characters. Characters have 10 potential levels, and each level is associated with a skill, depending on what class is chosen. Players can mix and match classes, enabling them to play the game exactly the way they want.

"Think of it this way," explained Contreras. "A good Level 1 character can kill a Level 10 character if enough strategy is used, but the Level 10 will have the benefit because of the amount of skills he has."

Although Rising End has a lot already finished and is a big immersive game, Contreras needs $15,000 in additional funding for licenses, artwork and some final touches in the technical development. In order to generate this capital, he has launched a Kickstarter campaign, which can be viewed at www.kickstarter.com/projects/programmer/rising-end-new-rpg-experience.

A demo of this livestream game is available on the Kickstarter page.

Donations of any amount are welcome. For $10, backers will receive a legendary weapon upon logging into the game. A $150 pledge enables you to go livestream with the game creators for 30 minutes and ask questions, chat and participate.

"This is a very versatile game as well," said Contreras. "Rising End can be player vs. player (PvP) or player vs. environment (PvE), so you can play by yourself, or with a team of friends, or even fight against them."

"People will be able to watch me and the team and my screen while we are developing the game on Twitch. This will allow supporters to actually help us develop the game and view the direction it's going."
