The winners, spanning 12 categories, were announced at a luncheon at the Casino du Liban that marked a visit by International Real Estate Federation President Flavio Gonzaga to the country.

The 2014 Real Estate Awards Lebanon recognize the most outstanding development projects in Lebanon, focusing on categories such as design and architecture, landscape design, eco-friendly and sustainable projects and specialized developments. A jury made up of 13 Lebanese and foreign experts evaluated and chose the winners.

"I am honored that the Amchit Bay Beach Residences have won this award. It is exciting to see my design chosen amongst so much great talent," said Mr. Abboud. "We wanted to design a place for people to escape the bustle of the city and enjoy the abundant beauty of the ocean and I'm thrilled that our vision resonated with the Real Estate Syndicate of Lebanon."

Amchit Bay will consist of six villas and 19 residences, offering residents luxurious seaside living with direct beach access and unparalleled views of the Mediterranean. Located just a 30 minute drive from Beirut and its roughly 1.9 million residents, the seaside location is perfect for either a weekend getaway or year-round resort style living.

The development sits on more than 250 feet of uninterrupted coastline, with a total of over 21,500 square meters of landscaped green common space. Other amenities include a fitness area, 24-hour security surveillance, pool, clubhouse and children's playground.
