New SPC Consortium for Business and Government Formed by Marmion Academy with Business Only Broadband and Lemko Corporation

High tech firms can reduce prototyping costs with cutting edge machine to cellular (M2C) computational science living-lab

AURORA, Ill., July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Marmion Academy announces the formation of the SPC (Simulation Prototyping Consortium for Business and Government) in partnership with Business Only Broadband and Lemko Corporation.  The SPC Consortium will accelerate the benefits of modern day Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Schools and serve the needs of 21st century education by opening a cutting edge M2C Computational Science Living-Lab on their 325 acre campus in Aurora, IL.  The Living-Lab will be supported through Marmion's Computational STEM Education and Training (CSET) Center and its newly formed C/PARC Engineering Center.

Marmion Academy is collaborating with SPC Consortium members Business Only Broadband and Lemko Corp to continue its tradition of academic excellence.  Working in concert with SPC's unique simulation core technologies, Lemko's M2C platform and Business Only Broadband's Carrier-Grade network for connectivity, Marmion will open its doors to collaboration opportunities on real world projects.
