Speakers Announced for Global Conference on Change Management

LOVELAND, Colo., Feb. 1, 2011 — The Association of Change Management Professionals announces a powerhouse line-up of speakers for the 2011 ACMP Global Conference on Change Management, with leading experts from industry and academia around the world. Expected to be the largest gathering of change management professionals to date, this inaugural conference will be held May 1-4, 2011 in Orlando, Florida and features speakers from Microsoft, Nike, Walmart International, Raytheon Missile Systems, Northwestern University, NASA Glenn Research Center, Best Buy, Philips Healthcare, George Washington University, Bristol-Myers Squibb, IKEA and Bayer to name just a few.

Additionally, as previously announced, the event will include an inaugural keynote address by Harvard Business School Professor John P. Kotter, author of "Our Iceberg is Melting" and "Leading Change" and founder of Kotter International. Also providing keynote sessions are Admiral Thad Allen, former Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard and National Incident Commander for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and Daryl R. Conner, author of "Managing at the Speed of Change" and "Leading at the Edge of Chaos."

The Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) provides oversight and management of a professional certification program for change management professionals leading the people-side of change. With this program, change practitioners, HR and OD professionals, project managers, and other change professionals can earn their ACMP (Change Management Professional) certification.
