Specifically, Michael Powers will address the economic impact of the expiring solar Federal tax credit that is set to drop from 30% to 10% for commercial projects and to zero for homeowners at the end of 2016 and how this will impact distributed energy companies and the solar workforce in the region.
Powers said that Stellar Solar is proud to support the region's clean energy initiatives. With regards to the solar tax credit set to expire in 2016 he added, "We would like to see it extended a few more years so that the economic engine that helped lift us up out of a recession in 2008 can continue running.
