Healthcare automation leader strengthens software capabilities to drive global, enterprise vision

The first of what will be several new hires for this team includes Eugene Baxter, who was appointed Senior Vice President of Enterprise Software. An experienced healthcare software development leader, Baxter comes to Swisslog from NextGen Healthcare, where he was Director of Research and Development.

Discussing a "single platform," Baxter is referring to the company's proven warehouse management software, which now will be leveraged for hospital systems, enabling functionality such as chain-of-custody and consolidated service center management.
