UT's Professional Development Center to Offer Professional Coaching Certificate with Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching

AUSTIN, Texas, June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The University of Texas at Austin's Professional Development Center will begin offering a Professional Coaching Certificate Program in collaboration with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), with classes beginning July 24.

Housed on campus at UT Austin, this seven-month-long program will certify its graduates in up to eight specialty disciplines including life, professional, transition, and business coaching tracks. Guided by the principles of its COR.E Dynamics™ methodology and founded on more than 30 years of scientific research, this certificate program drives human performance and potential, creating sustainable change in people's lives and careers while helping budding students develop effective executive leadership and life coaching skills.

The program's experiential curriculum consists of three face-to-face intensive weekends, peer coaching and peer group work, mentor coaching, teleclasses, required reading and self-study assignments. Altogether, graduates will have logged more than 320 training hours, and upon successful completion, will receive dual certifications: Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner.
