Veteran Corps Named to Inc. 500 for Second Year

O’FALLON, Ill., Aug. 30, 2011 — Inc. Magazine has named Veteran Corps of America to the Inc. 500 List of fastest-growing privately held companies for the second consecutive year. Veteran Corps, a diversified technology, threat mitigation, sourcing and logistics provider for the U.S. Government, has enjoyed an impressive three-year growth rate of 726%, not only placing the company in the top 500 overall, but in the top 60 in its industry at number 58.

The Inc. 500/5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth for the three-year period from 2007 to 2010; companies must be based in the U.S., privately held, for profit and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of larger companies). Past members of this elite group have included companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, and Oracle. Not only did Veteran Corps achieve a ranking in the elite top 500 for the second year, but William Wheeler, company CEO, was selected to share his story in the just-released September Inc. 500 issue. Since its founding in 2005, Veteran Corps has distinguished itself through intelligent identification of key resources and partners in bringing needed services and technology to government entities at all levels. Combining dedication to exceeding customer expectations, excellence at all operational levels, and actively supporting the disabled veteran community has led Veteran Corps to an enviable track record of success and service.

"It is a tremendous honor to be named to the Inc. 500 List for the second year. I attribute our success to the team we are privileged to be a part of, both internally and externally with our business partners. It is my hope that other companies will be encouraged by the success of start-ups like ours and I look forward to our continued growth, both as a successful business and as a company that makes a difference," said Bill Wheeler, President of Veteran Corps.
