BOSTON, May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The Web Video Marketing Council and Flimp Media have just released the 2014 Online Video Production Survey Trends Report compiled from data received from an in-depth survey of 318 web video production and marketing professionals. The survey, conducted by the Web Video Marketing Council and survey partner, Interactive Media Strategies, consisted of 24 questions related to online video production and related topics. The survey respondents consisted of video production professionals and managers who have significant experience with shooting, editing, managing, marketing and producing online video content. Respondents represent a wide range of vertical market industries including Advertising/PR (20%), Financial Services (10%), Information Technology (10%), media/publishing (9%), Retail/eCommerce (7%), Professional Services (6%), and Entertainment (6%) as well as others shown in the Report. Seventy one percent of respondents indicated they are responsible for authorizing or making purchases related to online video production initiatives.
