PORTLAND, Ore., May 15, 2008 — Western Graphics & Data, which produces packaging and data processing services for the prepaid card industry, is moving to a new facility in SE Portland. The highly secure facility is designed to allow secure packaging of financial cards and is the only facility of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.
As a result of significant investment in equipment and electrical and security systems, the new facility will exceed the security standards of many of the world's largest financial institutions.
"In order to better address the needs of our customers and thanks to business growth, we decided to move into a new facility that could provide the highest standards of security required by our customers," said Scott Mitton, general manager of Western Graphics & Data.
The new 44,000 square foot space is part of the Foster/205 Commerce Center. PhotoCraft, another Portland division of IGH Solutions, will become the new tenant of Western's former location at NW Yeon.
