Local contractor finds working radios in the rubble, eradicating all doubt as to the strength of RCA's BR950s
HARBOR CITY, Calif., May 1, 2012 — The morning after a devastating tornado struck Wichita, Kan., on April 14, a local contractor went out to his job site to assess and start cleaning up the damage. Among other things, his office trailer was completely destroyed, with pieces and parts broken and blasted up to 200 yards away. Pretty much everything was destined for the dumpster, yet in digging through the rubble, the contractor located all six of his company's two-way radios and the battery charger. "I was astonished," he said.
