Following Dockside Sessions' GRAMMY™ win, legendary record distributor Select-O-Hits, Inc. joined the Zydeco buzz and picked up the album for distribution. Simien's recent success is one of three major Zydeco milestones in 2014: Clifton Chenier received the Lifetime Achievement Award from The Recording Academy, and Buckwheat Zydeco is the official honoree for the exclusive New Orleans Jazz Fest's 16th Annual Jazz & Heritage Gala.

Highlight performances include a 28th consecutive performance at New Orleans Jazz Fest – where Simien will perform at the aforementioned gala honoring Buckwheat Zydeco – and a headlining slot at Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia immediately prior to country icon Jason Isbell.
